My favorite pixar movie is toy story. The main character of toy story is Sheriff Woody. Woody  goes through the hero's journey since it's through the journey of a hero. For instance Woody is a cowboy toy that can only move and talk when his owner Andy, isn't around. Woody's obviously Andy's favorite toy, and he is the leader of the other toys in the room. This tell us his ordinary world. His call to adventure was when Andy's birthday comes around, and he gets a cool new Buzz Lightyear doll which had a laser and his helmet does this whoosh thing. Andy's psyched. The refusal of the call was even after Buzz shows off all his cool features and the other toys rally around him, Woody refuses to believe that Buzz can take his place in Andy's heart. He's still Andy's favorite toy, and he's determined to stay on top. Meeting the mentor from toy story really doesn't gives us a mentor exactly, but Woody's does gain all kinds of new knowl...
The scene of "The Hogwarts Letter Scene" is about a mail scene how Harry Potter was called to the adventure. The Hogwarts letter is a letter acceptance to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, sent to British Wizards and Witches prior to the first year at Hogwarts. The call to the adventure can be defined as some information, presented in the form of a problem, a challenge or a request, which is received by the hero and will require some form of action which takes him off into the unknown call. The Supernatural Aid was when Hagrid knocks down the door of the deserted lighthouse and tells Harry that he is a wizard and he must go to Hogwarts to study magic.
My summer reading assignment kind of relate to the theory of the hero's journey because the book that I I'm reading it talks about how Scout Finch learning from her dad, Atticus Finch an attorney who hopelessly strives to prove the innocence of a black man unjustly accused of rape, and about Boo Radley, a mysterious neighbor who saves Scout and her brother Jem from being killed.
I as a student will benefit from having a school-provider iPad since we do not have to take our textbooks home. I could finish my homework faster and easier with a school-provider. It changes the experiment of education and it changes how students and teachers communicate. This could change my classes because iPad in the classroom enhance learning and can help study more efficiently.
A hero is a person who has patience, humility and is admired for courage, out standing achievements, or noble qualities. A hero to me means when a person gives of himself, often putting his own life at great risk, for the greater good of others. Yes, my definition of hero changed since the start of the course. I knew heroes saves lives and putting their lives for others, but now I'm appreciative on what they actually do which is making others happy.
