                   Aristotle distinguishes between poetry and history, saying that while history deals with what has been, poetry deals with what might be it presents the possible as probable or necessary. poetry is superior to history because history always deals with particular cases while poetry can express universal and general truths. Tragedy gives a feeling of necessity or at least probability to the way certain characters behave in certain situation and gives us insight into general principles regarding fate, choice, and so on.        French literature: is defined as the body of written works in the French language. This language was produced within the geographic and political boundaries of France. The French language was one of the five major Romance languages to develop from Vulgar Latin as a result of the Roman occupation of western Europe.       Polish literature: is defined as the body of writings in polish, one of the Slavic languages. The polish national literature holds an exceptional position in Poland. Over the centuries it has mirrored the turbulent events of Polish history and at times sustained the nation's cultural and political identity.    Out of these two cultures, the one that interests me the most would be the French culture because of their language and since is a major language of international communication.

          The three strength I have is creativity, respectfulness and dedication. My three major or long terms goals I have is graduating from High School, choosing what is more important right now and having good grades for future requirements. Three areas or skills I want to improve on is handing in work on time or before is due and focus in class more. The way I'm planning on achieving these goals or working on these skills is by being focus mainly on those goals, choose what is more important right now and being flexible. The things that are in my way from achieving these goals are not being focused and not having that type of commitment.
